We stayed at the hotel twice (Feb. 13 and Feb. 24) on this trip. We arrived late in the evening on the 13th and were warmly greeted by the staff and given a late check-out the next day to accommodate our flight. We arrived at 7:30 a.m. on the 24th but were able to check into our room immediately. The front desk clerk suggested we reserve a taxi for the next day when we were leaving at 5:00 a.m. and arrangements went smoothly the next day.
The hotel is adjacent to a shopping center and close to the Raffles business area so it was very convenient. The restaurants are varied and good. The staff was excellent, and we had a comfortable stay. We will certainly stay there again when we visit Singapore.

| "Ask for a harbour view-it overlooks the Merlion,the City,the Colonial part etc The breakfasts are superb with a huge range.Drinks in the hotel are quite pricey.
Connects through the arcades to City Hall(MRT)and the Raffles Arcade." |

| "Fantastic hotel! Great location if want to be close to attractions yet away from busy Orchard Road. Lovely staff. Breakfast unbelievable, you'll need at least an hour to get through all their delights!
Great pool area, with regular free treats, such as frozen strawberries and smoothies!
Will definately be back to Oriental hotel again.A bit pricey but definately worth it!" |
