We had a bad experience after a few good recommendations of this hotel, basically we were placed in a smoking room on the first night...even tho we had a 2 year old, then the next room we were moved to had no electricity in the bathroom....we then had to sit and wait 2hours until the next room was ready...meanwhile my daughter fell asleep with no dinner or bath...as they had forgotton about us. the final room was good although smaller than the previous . Luckily the singapore sale was on and this hotel is a good location for the shops. The breakfast buffet is also very good start to the day. The hotel staff try their best...as its a very busy hotel.

| "Hotel is well located on Orchard Road. Staff try hard, but it is a very busy hotel and they seem to get lost in the crowd. Overall the hotel is expensive for what it is. It needs a major update or upgrade. Singapore hotels are 2-3 times the price for half the value compared with KL, Bangkok or even Jakarta." |

| "The MM Hotel was fantastic - rooms are very spacious and have exceptional views. The facilities are extremely well maintained and the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for location and value for money." |

| "We enjoyed our stay at Meritus Mandarin, and would most definately choose this hotel above all others when we visit Singapore again.
We were impressed with the overall experience, from the very first moment of walking through the reception / foyer and the staff greeting us, the service of the front desk and housekeeping staff, location of the hotel on Orchard Road - great if you enjoy shopping, spaciousness and cleanliness of our room, and of course the magnificent view, and breakfast buffet provided!
Thank you Meritus Mandarin for making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable!
We will be back.

| "THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME IN SINGAPORE. LOVED IT, LOVED THE SHOPPING, LOVED THE SCENERY BUT MOST OF ALL LOVED THE HOTEL. GREAT LOCATION NEAR SHOPPING MALLS, JUST ACROSS THE ROAD. THE STAFF MEMBERS WERE NICE, KIND AND ALWAYS SMILING.
ANOTHER GREAT THING WAS THAT THEY GAVE US AN EARLY CHECK-IN, SINCE WE CAME EARLY AND TIRED FROM THE TRIP BUT THEY GAVE US A SMOKING ROOM. WHICH WASNT THAT BAD, DIDNT REALLY SMELL FORTUNATELY.
THE ROOM WAS GOOD BUT I THOUGHT THE BATHROOM WOULD BE BIGGER. PLUS BREAKFAST WAS WONDERFUL. WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK." |
