Have travelled to Singapore many times. Could not get accomodation at preferred hotels. Miramar hotel was available and decided to try. Room was average size, clean and had normal facilities. Had an issue with bed, very hard. Felt like sleeping on boards. Had stiff joints in morning from uncomfortable nights.
Used pool daily which was old but OK. Area around pool had strong food smells from kitchens.
Buffet breakfast was good but did not change. Service was good.
Typically use MRT which was 10 minute walk from hotel (in China Town). not an issue unless raining. Buses out front and hotel provides a shuttle service if times are suitable.
Miramar would not be my first choice hotel but would use again if I can't get my preferred hotel. Would however request a better bed!

| "WE FOUND THE HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFUL,THE FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER,ITS LOCATION WAS IDEAL FOR US, YOU COULD BE IN THE CITY CENTRE BY TAXI IN ABOUT 5 MINS.IN CONCLUSION WE ARE NOW PLANNING OUR NEXT TRIP DOWN UNDER AND THIS IS HOTEL WILL HOPEFULLY BE OUR STOPPING OFF PLACE. " |
