A) 18 April - 3 June'05 : guestrooms L20-L22
B) 4 June - 18 July'05 : guestrooms L23-L25 + creation area,restaurant and lounge area.
C) 19 May - 6 September'05 :L7 ---> reception area,restaurant and lounge area.
D) 5 May - 22 July'05 : L5&6 ---> banquet rooms.
Noise pollution from A&B should be minimal,as little breaking is foreseen.The rooms will be redesigned,but all walls etc.will stay the same.The renovation will be done floor by floor,thereby also reducing
the possibility of inconvenience.
During the renovation of level 7,some inconvinien can be foreseen,but again,we think minimal noise pollution.Breakfast will move to the 6th floor in the former Chinese restaurant.The check in desk will move 15 meters left during renovation.During each of the 3 phases,reception,lounge and restaurant the section in question is hoarded off completely and the other sections remain in operation.
At all times,works will take place only between 9 AM and 6 PM.The renovations of level 5 & 6 will not have an impact at all on your clients,as these are banquet areas and the refurbishment there is purely cosmetic,i.e wallpaper,carpet,etc.
After renovation the hotel will have 6 executive floors with fully renovated rooms,with access to executive lounge and many more benefits.On level 7 we will have the square,Novotel Asia's live cooking concept kitchen and a winebar will be created in the lobby,adding another great outlet to the Novotel Clarke Quay.
