I had stayed at the Orchard Parad in the past and had good memories. We had a twin room that big enough for us to spread out our condiderable shopping, so we were pleased. To start with.
Our only comlaints being that who ever had cleaned the bathroom had neglected to notice the soiling down the side of the toilet, that was quite unsightly. Also,the bed covers, are obviously not cleaned between each guest either as we noticed a few freash stains that were a bit off putting. This wouldnt have been so bad except they are actually the doona covers, so whilst you have a sheet between you and the "unclean cover", you can't discard it like you could if it were a blanket. Both of these were fixed without fuss when we complained.
Apart from this we were very happy. Breakfast finished at a decent hour 1015, so you didnt feel you had to rush out of bed in the morning. The food choice was great, including individually cooked eggs or omlets.
The pool is clean, with an aboundance of towels available. And there is also an adequetely equiped gym.
The hotel is situated at the quite end of Orchard Parade, the main shopping street. Meaning peace and quite, wile only being a short walk away from the thick of things. The Subway is also a handy 2 minute walk, if you don't want to bother with taxis.
A bonus was as checkout was at 12:00, and we had a late flight they offered us a "shower room" free of charge prior to leaving for the airport.
I would definately recomend it to others.

| "We did not eat at the hotel, so this review is based on the accommodation experience only. Staff service was generally courteous and efficient, except that the front desk was understaffed, which led to unwelcome delays. The room allocated to us for the first night (#1000) was too small, faced directly on to the wall of the next building, and was not of similar standard to other rooms in the same range. We requested a change of room and were relocated to room #717 which was up to the expected standard and much more acceptable. The worst attribute was provided by a very loud discotheque, either in the hotel or in the immediate neighbourhood, which operated right through the Friday night until after 0500 on the Saturday morning; the insistent thump-thump-thump makes it difficult for hotel guests to sleep. The location of the hotel, at the junction of Orchard and Tanglin Roads, is, of course, otherwise very convenient, so it's a pity some understanding cannot be reached with the noisy night-clubbers. Cleanliness, laundry service and concierge services were of a high standard. I would probably stay at the Orchard Parade again, but would not want to pay a cent more than we did. " |

| "1)very poor space available where store your personal effects : for 2 persons was absolutely unadequate (acceptable for short periods not for istance for 13th days)
2)the "nouvelle cousine" at Club Chinois at evening and at noon cost a lot comparing to other places in singapore but is offering very little.... although the service be perfect.
3)why not a good buffet???at least at noon
4) the buffet in in the morning was super
5) I reccomended your organization to all the people I know should be interested of.

| "Our flight landed 3am, and the hotel staff had a room ready almost immediately. The best service we've had in a long time. Friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Good, clean, perfectly sized rooms for 2 people. Perfectly situated for Orchard Road shopping - and MRT is 10min walk from the hotel. Taxis available at the front door at most times. A GOOD EXPERIENCE ALL-IN-ALL. We will recommend this hotel to friends, and we will definitely go back to Orchard Parade Hotel again." |
