Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
We chose the Oxford for its location and price. Whilst the location was excellent, the hotel was poorly resourced. The selection of food available at breakfast was minimal and the restaraunt struggled with the number of patrons. The rooms themselves were very small and did not contain a fridge. When travelling with a family a fridge is important for storage as you can't always afford to eat out.

"Not strong professional staff. Strange feeling of being treated like budget customer by counter service staff and person-in-charge then."

"The price keeps on increasing, but the hotel stays the same. It is only a 1 star hotel and used to be good value for the money, but now there are better cheaper hotels available in Singapore. Rooms are shoddy, TV only just works, housekeeping is good but other services are non existant."

"Staff were welcoming and efficient. A clean reception area and cafe/restaurant - choice of food just ok. Main problem with the Oxford is that it's quite old and carpets, decor, bathroom suite needs replacing. However, we had clean sheets, rooms cleaned daily and the air conditioning was excellent. We all had a good night's sleep! Thank you."
