"Although situated outside the city centre the Paramount was very conveniently located for the airport. The centre of town could be easily accessed by an inexpensive taxi or the number 14 bus from the rear of the Hotel. Central Singapore was less than twenty minutes bus ride away. Our room, on the eighth floor, had been recently refurbished. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choice. There are no restaurants in the vicinity but the Hotel provided a good menu at reasonable cost. The road to the side of the Hotel gave access to local night clubs but we walked around the area in the evenings quite comfortably. For a few days stop over, I would thoroughly recommend the Paramount."

"This hotel is let down by the poor quality food served in the restaurant and I could not find any restaurants in the locality. Otherwise its fine!"

"The room did not remotely resemble the photos. It was something out of a 70's nightmare with floral bedspreads, dated furniture and flaking spray painted bathroom I felt I needed to wear shoes to have a shower in. Only redeeming feature was it was close to the airport, which was the reason we stayed there. Would never stay here again, especially given the price."

"If I had read the reviews from tripadviors, i wouldn't have booked this hotel for our family, especially for children... This hotel also runs " entertaining " business , so my two girls (8,11) were quite curious about those "sexy" ladies when just arriving hotel. The clerk over the counter wasn't so attentive nor friendly. Btw, the room was HUGE and dustless. "

"Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Room and breakfast pretty average. However, bathroom definitely needed replacing as a matter or urgency!"

"This hotel is not at the city center location nor near any MRT station. To the city center by bus takes 25 minutes or longer. The room is so so. I would rate it with three stars in stead of four per quote."
