| "We booked a triple room, but ended up with a room containing two single beds into which a Z-bed had been added. The latter was very uncomfortable, though the other beds were OK. The room was a bit shabby and we needed to get a maintenance man to fix a plug socket, which he did very quickly.
To their credit we did turn up at about 8am and they did find us the room straight away so we could get some sleep after a long journey, rather than make us wait till the normal check-in time.
The swimming pool and gym are nothing special and there is no bar with them - they are a bit isolated from the rest of the hotel, like they don't really want people going there.
The breakfast was rather an unusual selection of things, though basically OK, but we stayed in the Swissotel in Merchant Court on our outbound trip and that was much superior. Svensons (I think it was called) is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but not apparently part of it, and the food there was very good, but a bit pricey. We didn't try the main restaurant in the hotel itself.
I guess this place is on Orchard Rd and so they don't have to try so hard (we have also stayed at the Orchard Hotel at the other end and that wasn't much better either). So unless you really want to be right there where the shopping is, then don't bother with this one. Using the MRT is so cheap, quick and easy, you might as well stay away from Orchard Rd and travel there when you want to experience it." |

| "Customer service was excellent. Location was excellent for its price. Pretty happy with the room.
Hotel breakfast was pretty good.
The only thing I did not like was the bed was hard and the pillows too soft." |

| "Asked for one queen size bed and one single and they could only do 3 single beds so not impressed. Inroom internet connection charges were $21SD per day which I think is very exensive and should be included in room charge. Staff professional." |

| "Thank you, the booking went smoothly and we were generally happy with the hotel...the service was good, the staff friendly and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent, we could go shopping and easily return to the room when we tired (good for seniors).
The only thing we were unhappy about was that we think we asked for a double bed, we don't consider 2 beds pushed together to be a double. We think we should have been asked about that, we forgot to check when we booked in! We were given a late check (1pm)out after some discussion, which was good.
We felt that because we were only there two nights and not business people that we were put on the 5th floor above the pool renovations and it was noisy at times.
Overall, we would happily use the Hotel again.
Regards, David Andersson " |

| "The stay was terrible. There was no gym and no swimming pool available because of renovation. The renovation work was noisy and stared early in the morning until late.

| "This hotel is perfectly situated for shopaholics, the hotel appearance and approach are great. However, the foyer has no lounge area, the rooms are average and the breakfast provided is mediocre." |
