We have stayed in Peninsula Hotel at first week of January, 2006 after travelling from Kuala Lumpur by train. While we was at KL, we realized that the KTM train that we used to Singapore was scheduled to arrive at 7.00 am, therefore we planned to ask the receptionist if any possibility to have an early check-in, but there is no good answer as well as we expected and finally we have checked in at 4.00 pm due to other reason. After all, we have no problem with other service, and highly appreciate for the quick response of room service officer while we asked for electric adaptor. The hotel location is also ease us to catch the interest area for city tour since nearly close to City Hall Station. It is only take several minutes to walk to City Hall and get MRT to go at any place. Our suggestion is Peninsula Hotel should provide the facility for muslim in the room such as the direction of Qibla, pray mat and Holy Qur'an. Also the preparation of Muslim food at breakfast buffet that must be separately from non-Muslim food. We will consider to stay again in Peninsula Hotel next time, especially if the offering package is still attractive for us. Thank you.

| "Stayed in the hotel for a wee, had ample services and facilities as I only had to sleep in it. Some noises during the night due to renovation. The keycard for the room and elevators was messed up most of the time (got stuck inside the elevator a few times). Excellent lcation as it's very near the train/bus/taxi stations in City Hall area. Breakfast was ok but the same everyday; some variety would be good. Had to pay 5dollar deposit for plug adapter (should be part of room as customers are usually travelers from abroad). No hotel transfers but cab to and from airport should be easy. For non-smokers, make sure you request for rooms on the non-smoking floors. Funan Mall is just next door so it was really convenient for last minute shopping. Highly recommended hotel for the price; no frills, just what's needed for a comfortable SG stay. " |

| "Stayed on the Excelsior side and was very impressed with the room. Very clean and spacious with nice views over the city and this was only a standard room. Excellent position - central for all the sights and the MRT. Good breakfast." |

| "The hotel rooms were a bit jaded and the reception staff were not terribly helpful, trying to get me to take a smoking room - but for the price and convenient location near City Hall MRT it would be hard to beat in Singapore. For a short stopover it was fine." |
