we booked this hotel August 2007 and advised them that we would be arriving at between 4.00am and 5.ooam on the morning of the 1st of November so we paid for an extra night on the 31st, unfortunately on arrival from a late night flight from perth , as previously booked and reconfirmed the previous day by e mail from us to the hotel we found that they had no accomadation booked for us and our two friends we were travelling with, After a lot of sorting out we were told as there were people leaving at approximately 5.ooam in the morning the hotel would be able to provide us with accomadation, I was very dissapointed at the arrangements, we were offered no refunds or anything to make up for this mistake.

| "the peninsula excelsior singapore is very..very.. pooorrr... we are really absolutely very...very dispointed, with all from this hotel.
Room is not very good, the service is very suck.
and so noisy. i just telling to all people in the world, don't ever...ever you stay in this hotel.

| "This is a copy of our comments on hotel survey:-
Booking was for superior room - K.S. bed 175 AUD as on previous visit in June. That visit though brief was a pleasant experience. This time we were upgraded & charged 203 AUD for a deluxe room (not at our request). This was sub standard - with 2 small single beds, no clock, radio or bedside lights. TV remote so old the letters were worn off making it unusable.
The front desk were unable to rectify the situation other than to provide 2 rather unstable standard lamps.
We feel paying more for a lesser standard room is most unsatisfactory." |

Breakfast spread is decent.
