We had problems with reception staff on our second visit. First visit two nights end of February on way to four week visit New Zealand. This was very good but on return end of March for further four nights, hotel hat first had no record of our booking. Took three hours to sort to our satisfaction. Otherwise the hotel suited our purpose well and idael location for city activities.

| "the peninsula excelsior singapore is very..very.. pooorrr... we are really absolutely very...very dispointed, with all from this hotel.
Room is not very good, the service is very suck.
and so noisy. i just telling to all people in the world, don't ever...ever you stay in this hotel.

| "This is a copy of our comments on hotel survey:-
Booking was for superior room - K.S. bed 175 AUD as on previous visit in June. That visit though brief was a pleasant experience. This time we were upgraded & charged 203 AUD for a deluxe room (not at our request). This was sub standard - with 2 small single beds, no clock, radio or bedside lights. TV remote so old the letters were worn off making it unusable.
The front desk were unable to rectify the situation other than to provide 2 rather unstable standard lamps.
We feel paying more for a lesser standard room is most unsatisfactory." |
