The hotel is clean and the lobby is beautiful. The rooms are small and seemed a bit worn, but clean. The location is so so - about 10-15 minutes walk to Novena MRT station. Not much around the hotel except a 7-Eleven and a highway. Easy access to the airport via taxi (about S$15.00). The counter staff were truly horrible. I had several problems in the first room they gave me (broken toilet, safe not working, poor Wi-Fi Internet signal), so I switched to a different room, which had other problems. The staff were completely indifferent to the problems and were not forthcoming with any solutions, beyond a perfunctory, rude "sorry". The Wi-Fi Internet access was very expensive at S$21/day. The breakfast was good, but uncomfortable to sit in the very low bar lounge chairs while eating. The restaurant was average with high prices. Had to pay the hotel S$5 for a power cord adapter to plug things in (they do refund the money when you return the adapter). Checkout was slow and laborious. I stayed there for 5 nights and overall, it was not a pleasant experience, mostly due to the poor service and attitudes of the front counter staff.

| "I spent days sifting through reviews on asiarooms while trying to decide where to stay. finally after reading several positive coments on the quality hotel i booked myself a room. having now stayed there I can say that the room was more than adequate,extremely clean and tidy, the staff very welcoming , friendly and helpful. it is out of the cbd but this is what i wanted and travel by train , bus or taxi was easy and inexpensive. The buffet breakfast was extensive and full filling .If you are looking for a good keenly priced hotel than i do not hesitate to reccommend the quality" |

| "the only thing that is not good about this hotel is the breakfast. The food isnt up to hotel standard and i have stayed in alot of hotels and i think this is the worst.
Other than this, the room is good and clean though a bit small." |

| "Although a bit distant from the centre of town, the Quality Hotel provided a comfortable stay in a good-sized, clean and well-maintained room. The hotel is close to many reasonable eating places and a small shopping mall with a supermarket. The staff were friendly and efficient and the buffet breakfast (included) was a good start to each day. Rapid travel to the CBD is available on the 145 bus or bus then MRT from Toa Payoh. This is a good hotel for families and budget travellers." |
