Stayed at the Regent hotel in May 2005. Started with not a good impression. They put us on the top floor (I think it was the 12th fl). The AC in the room wasn't working and the lights in the bathroom wasn't work properly. But, after we complained (with a bit of anger), they moved us to much better room. Facilities are good enough, breakfast was OK, location is nice, quiet and we can still walk to orchard, staffs are nice people. Overall, it was OK but we will not stay in this hotel anymore.

| "Good hotel, decent service and good overall facilities. Nice rooms but bathrooms a bit on the small side. Very clean and bags of room in the public areas. It is a bit far away from the MRT about a 10 minute walk along Orchard Road which can be a bit of a pain when it's raining and boy can it rain in Singapore. In summary, good hotel but you can find one just as good but better located." |
