On arrival, the reception clerk made a big deal about fact room was ready and available at no extra charge though hotel was half empty. This is not untypical of Singaporean attitude but Regent/Four Seasons usually trains its staff better! (especially when dealing with an Ambassador).

| "Good hotel, decent service and good overall facilities. Nice rooms but bathrooms a bit on the small side. Very clean and bags of room in the public areas. It is a bit far away from the MRT about a 10 minute walk along Orchard Road which can be a bit of a pain when it's raining and boy can it rain in Singapore. In summary, good hotel but you can find one just as good but better located." |
