| "stayed here on the 15th of Dec. this is an old building, so the room smelt musky. unfortunately, the blankets on my bed were stained, so that was a major minus-point for me. room size was huge by singapore standards (with a balcony even), and very nice for the price paid (USD 102/nite). the complimentary breakfast is halal, so that may appeal to Muslim travellers. other than that, the breakfast is appalingly normal (some fried noodles, hard boiled eggs, cereals, toast, coffee & tea). if you plan to stay here, be prepared to learn bus routes as there is only a bus stop nearby, not an mrt station." |

| "Stayed this Hotel October 2007, Location fair, Room Size BIG.
Rate inclued Breakfast - NOT GOOD - worse than a staff canteen.
Only had available - Tea/coffee/toast/ - boiled eggs and noodles - disgusting.
Staff friendly. Wouldn't stay again." |

| "The hotel overall is good. I found the location little out of the way. Odd hours difficult to get a Taxi. Facilities for food is not adequate. Breakfast should have more varieties for the price charged. " |

| "Cannot fault service, friendliness of staff, value for money etc. Only main complaint was the poor breakfast menu and location. It reminded us of a school dining hall. Although we stayed for 3 nights, we only had one breakfast at the hotel - we chose to go out." |

| "Excellent,my wife and I arrived from China and my daughter from Australia,we stayed 6 nights at the RELC and found the staff could not do enough for us,the location is great,about a 10 min stroll to Orchard road,the rooms were very clean,no problem with noise,the staff at reception were very helpful,the Chinese resturant was excellent.
We paid for breakfast witch was varied every day but would liked to have seen a bit of fruit,overall we could not fault the Relc and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone." |

| "The hotel is 20 min walking to MTR and Orchard road. We chose Hollywood room and was nothing special. The poorest breakfast I've ever seen in Asia !! No way ! Next time in Singapore we will choose another hotel." |
