Loved the location of the Rendevous. Only 3 mins and you were in Orchard Road, and would usually have only been a 5 mins walk to Raffles except you couldn't walk down the road (so were diverted behind buildings) due to the building of a new MRT link. Our room wasn't available when we checked in (why? I didn't change the booking) so we were put in a suite for the first night and then moved to our room for the second night. I queried what compensation we'd receive for having to change rooms, so we were given a room on the 10th floor. Not sure if it was any better than the other floors, but we did have a overly keen housemaid who wanted to service our room twice a day! Love the doorbells that each room has, but don't like the fact that the 'do not disturb' light only works while you've got your room key in the light switch thingy - so you can't instruct anyone not to come into the room while you're not there. Room was on the small side, but the bathroom was fantastic! One of the lifts wouldn't read our card properly so we had a few difficulties in selecting our floor. These issues are super minor and I'd stay there again next week! Breakfast was good, the pool was great and not needing to bring adaptors for your mobile phone chargers (as they have a board in each room with multiple plugs in it) was a bonus. Definitely a great, well situated hotel and huge value for money (as the breakfast costs $23 Singapore in you were paying for it yourself!).

| "Check in was easy, even got a free room upgrade to a deluxe room! Also booked the room for a late check out until 5pm for just another $50.00. Well worth it.
Room was lovely, clean, comfortable, good air-con and a pool view.
Room service was quick and the food was a good size and very nice, some things a little pricey though.
Breakfast was included in the price for us, hot and cold buffett, plenty of choice, again very good.
Tour desk in reception was helpfull, made all the calls and booked our tour.
The hotel is in a very nice area, safe to walk around of an evening, lots of places to eat close by.
The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the airport,it only cost us about $18 one way airport to hotel, cheaper than the hotel shuttle which is $40 one way. Taxis are clean and safe too!
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, would certainly stay there again." |

| "A really nice and very clean hotel with a perfect central location and close to the MRT station Dhoby Ghaut with about 5 min walk. Excellent buffet breakfast with western und local varieties. Also equipt with a convinient swimming pool and an attractive gym. The room corrisponds the expected standard but was noisy because situated on the street side. Overall this is an excellent hotel that we can recommend to my friends." |

| "I stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago at superior room on 8th floor. It was my second time staying at this hotel, firstly i stayed there about 7 years ago. surprisingly, i didnt see much renovation. the room was just ok, actually less than i had expected. the bathroom was a bit small for two, the view wasnt that great. For me, with the budget around 200 dollar sin, it was just alrite. the location was better, since it was so close to orchard road.i wont recommend this hotel for honeymoners for sure but if u would like to stay there for 1-2 nite then u ll be just ok." |
