The location was perfect. We found the room rather tiny and crowded (not enough room for luggage storage). We were comparing this to rooms that we paid much less for in Phuket, with great amenities for our dollar there, so it was a little bit of a let down. Probably giving this survey a little of an unfair compliment?
There was a horrible gassy sewer smell coming from the bathroom drain so we covered it with a towel and purchased a room freshner. After a day or two the smell seemed to dissipate, but it was a very overpowering and really, not very nice. The pool area is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and professional. We were very impressed that they always knew our name when we made inquiries. The Concierge was very helpful and understood what we were looking for as far as entertainment. He directed us in the right direction every time. It made our day much easier getting around your lovely city.
The housekeeping was very good. Very clean and well kept hotel. Thumbs up on that.
The breakfast was included with out reservation. There is always something for everyone. Good selection. We would normally have a North American type breakfast (eggs,bacon,toast,hashbrowns) but we found this type of breakfast was very greasy. Days to follow we satisfied ourselves with fruit and toast. It was still nice to have a complimentary breakfast.
We would stay at your facility again for the location and your great service. Your City is Fabulous!

| "Our stay at the Rendevous was very enjoyable. The pool area was fantastic and the staff very helpful and friendly. Renovations were going on when we were there but this was only noisy during the day - and quite frankly if you want a nice upgraded hotel then you have to put up with that. Great facilities, close proximitly to things, excellent place to stay." |

| "The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, however I was very disappointed with the price that I paid. It is nothing like a four-star hotel.
Even the internet is charged at an insane price of $1.2/min, and worst of, the connection is not stable at all! The tv remote control only works from time to time, and the wall is so thin that the construction work the hotel is currently undergoing seems particularly unbearable.
The only good thing about the hotel is probably its location, the Indonesian restaurant and its staff." |
