The hotel is located conveniently near Orchard Road and the civic district with its charming British colonial architecture - a welcome contrast to the functional high rises in the business district (e.g. Raffles City) . The Singapore National and Art museums are just a few blocks away and the modernistic campus of the Singapore Management University is just across the street.
Slightly further away are the historic Raffles Hotel with its Long Bar(and iconic Singapore Sling cocktail)and the stylish pubs and restaurants of CHIJMS (a former religious cloister). Overall an excellent base for the independent traveler to explore Singapore.

| "It was overall OK except that we stayed there during some renovation works and it was unacceptably noisy. lucky we only stayed there for one night and the noise was on the day we were checking out. we complained and the security (Mr Samad) came immediately with his colleague, to convey apologies & offered us complimentary lunch upon checking out. we accepted the apology but declined the complimentary lunch. i hope in future, if there is renovations going on in your premises, the guest dont have to endure the inconvenience. " |

| "Very good hotel with spacious rooms, well cleaned & serviced. The key pad used for tv/internet monitor was not working. It was a bit of work switching between remote & key pad.
May this hotel is different but I find it usual for hotel bathroom to have sewing kit, tooth paste/brush & shaving blade." |

| "We found the Rendezvous Hotel to be good value. Service was good, the room was as expected for a four star hotel, and the breakfast buffet good. Only a short walk to the MRT, which will take to you just about anywhere in Singapore. We would certainly consider staying here again on our next visit to Singapore." |

| "VERY HAPPY WITH THIS HOTEL. HAD AN UPGRADE WHICH WAS GREAT SO NOT SURE HOW SMALL THE ROOMS ARE IN DELUX BUT THEY ARE NOT HUGE ON THE TENTH FLOOR EITHER.
LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. VERY CLOSE TO EATERIES AND TRANSPORT. TAXI'S ARE ALSO CLOSE BY AT ALL TIMES.
WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE NEXT VISIT. SINGAPORE IS ALSO A DELIGHT!" |
