I stayed at Royal at Queens from March 3/7, 2006 and again from March 10/13, 2006. The main fault that occurred was that the warm water was rust colored on initial use in the room. In the date of room, I discovered the air conditioner was not working after the first day, I informed the hotel and a repair person was sent and informed that it was fixed. On the second day, I found this same room without air. I again called the hotel and again they sent a person over. I ate breakfast and prior to returning to my room, I checked with the front desk to learn that the air conditioner was fixed. It was not! I called to have the repairman go with me to the room. He acknowledge problem with the breaker switch and informed that I should get a another room. I found the replacement room to have a broken locking mechanism (double lock) With one day left and a safe available/I utilized this room. I liked the safe and internet capabilities.
Rooms itself needs additional care. Staff ws friendly.

| "We stayed at this hotel from Oct, 01 to Oct, 04. The hotel is located at the city center at a street just across the Orchard Road. The facilities provided are excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and food is quite nice. The breakfast served was slightly boring though. However, I would strongly recommend this hotel." |

| "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The staff were most helpful when I discovered that I had left a folder of documents behind. They faxed copies of the ones I needed for the rest of our travels and held the folder for me to collect on my way home through Singapore.
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were excellent." |

| "This is the second time I have stayed here but I was very dissappointed on this occassion. My room was smaller and noisier than last time and I thought the bathroom was terrible. Breakfast was revolting and in the age of free wireless I had to pay through the nose for cable broadband via this site but it's free with Wotif. One thing going for it is the location which is very central. However for a few bucks more book with wotif or expedia and you will probably enjoy your stay elsewhere. " |

| "Good hotell. Newly renovated. But you could hear the other guests in the other rooms. So the rooms are not so good isolated.
But the location is okay." |
