| "Although we have made our booking on 7 March 2008, requesting a king size bedroom, the hotel allocated a twin room (with no option to pull the beds together!)to us. I was more than unhappy, in particular as it was our wedding anniversary that day. First receptionist explained that the hotel is fully booked. When I saw the room, I immediately returned to reception. This time, I different, very gentle receptionist helped us and understood our situation. Very generously, he then upgraded us to a different room category with a king size bed which we enormously appreciated.
We had stayed in so many hotels during our 2-weeks-trip through Asia, but this was the only hotel where we initially didn't get the room as per our request. It was our last night and it would have been a bit of a shame if our holidays had ended like this. Thanks to the gentle receptionist, everything worked out well!" |

| "I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. Upon arrival they did not have a king size bed, I was on my honey moon so I had to sleep in seperate beds for a night, eventhough I booked for a King size bed and even complained when arrived and they told me that was everything they had. The other day I had to beg for them to change me and they did it just because I complained several times, they did not gave it right away. There was a construction across the street so there was a loud banging after 9am, so could not sleep after that time. It was a very dissapionting stay, I expected alot more. Maybe was a bit of bad luck, but generally speaking it was not what I expected. The size of the room was OK, nothing special. The only good things about the hotel was the location, it was next to the Quay where all the restaurants and bars are so that was great and has the Big Bus company (city tour) 3 minutes walking, and a metro station next to the hotel. Im sure there are alot better options." |

| "We enjoyed our stay in Singapore although it was a short stay the hotel was nice and comfortable and central, the service was very good and the breakfast was excellent, looking forward to our return stay early September on our way home." |

| "Brilliant Stay for four nights at the start of August 08. Paid for an upgrade to a business advantage room which was spacious. Had previously stayed twice at Traders and this Hotel was better in our opinion with larger rooms with more natural light, better linen and most of all an unbeatable location right beside the river and across the road from a Mall so spoilt for choice for food options. At breakfast (included in the room rate - booked through Asia Rooms)they would make you a cappucino at no extra cost. The linen was top quality and silky white. Concierge staff and porters were genuinely helpful. We would happily stay here again." |

| "Excellent bedroom, very comfortable hotel, very expensive bar in hotel, 1 beer 2 cokes $35. do not have a late breakfast as there will be no food left, reception not accommodating a late check out, however they did have facilities you can use which were good, have stayed in Singapore many times, there are more hotels cheaper with better facilities." |
