| "Room was clean and of a good size. Bathroom was mediocre at best. Position of the hotel is excellent being on top of a shopping mall and an underground station with the ability to travel most places quickly and efficiently. The service from the front desk was very poor, unhelpful and actually rude. We had to queue for over 20 minutes to just check-out of the room due to their inefficiency." |

| "We have a very nice stay in Singapore. Hotel staffs are very help. My only comment is there is no internet facilities in the hotel foyer as nowadays, not everyone is carrying a computer thru custom as it is very security conscious.

| "The hotel, whilst functional and spacious is a bit bland and faceless and you certainly feel more like a "client" than a guest. Views from the higher rooms and bar are great and I think the hotel is probably in one of the best locations in terms of getting around.
Breakfast is good and there is plenty of selection.
My complaint about The Stamford is that the front desk was not well organised for check out. There were not enough reception staff for a hotel that size and at that price I would not expect to wait over 30 minutes to check out.
If you go I would advise express checkout (where you drop your card and a form in a box). We hadn't done this as we wanted to check our bill (and check for anything that might have been added on) but we were later told that even with express they will send you the invoice before charging your card." |

| "had bad experience with the business center on the 4th floor . They was not able to give me a correct information how much a package to Kuala lumpur is !!! it tooks exactly one day to find out how much DHL service is and the normal sending by post !
I found that service very poor for that kind of hotel " |

| "What a tired old hotel this is .A refurbishment should have taken place at least 5 years ago .Room was small and crampt but did have a beautiful view .I opted for the harbourview room which reminded me very much of 1988.Not a time that i would choose to go back to .The service in the hotel was flawless from check in to check out .Location wise the stamford is perfect three minutes to mrt,shopping downstairs a number of eat streets not to far away.The Stamford really comes undone when it comes to value for money .A few dollars more will get you vastly better accomodation elsewhere.Other hotels offer the same type of rooms for a lot less dollars without the harbourview.The same sought of dollars will buy you luxury, well cared for rooms at The Carlton or Naumi.Come on stamford bring your hotel into the 21st century " |

| "We have stayed at the Swissotel The Stamford a few times before and it is our preferred hotel because of the location, the service is always excellent and we can never fault the staff. We were travelling with our grandchildren this time and of course the swimming pool is great for the kids. " |
