| "The resort did not accommodate for us as honeymooners - no view and room size very disappointing. Even though we informed through email communication before arriving at the hotel that we were honeymooners, there was no evidence of any efforts made in making our honeymoon stay special. Quality of room cleaning was low quality. Matress and pillows were uncomfortable resulting in back and neck pain the next day.
One particular male staff at front desk showed no manners or friendly customer service skills during our stay. He was present that day we were due to leave the hotel on April 16th 2006, Sunday, he was the man helping with the laundry that just arrived.
Restaurant staff showed a friendly and professional attitude. Some improvements need to be made in regards to food/menu selection for guests, especially for dinner.
Location is great and the resort lobby/entrance beautiful." |

| "WARNING!
just thought id make you aware; any rooms booked with this hotel in any other way than direct with the hotel (ie with travel agents) you automatically get allocated a room without windows or a balcony! (this is true as it came straight from the manager of the hotel) we were allocated a room such as this, and after complaining, were allocated the only room left (apparently). this shared a wall with the karaoke bar, where although were told that the music would only be going on until midnight, it was past 2am when it stopped, and only when we had complained 3 times one night! my complaint wasnt at all taken into account as the guy - Ben, on the desk stood there arguing with me, pretty much saying that we must have been imagining the noise as it has already been turned off, although we could hear it coming from upstairs as we spoke!
i would compare this hotel to 'Fawlty Towers' and would catergorically say that i will NEVER EVER stay here again.
the only thing positive about it is, its location. the beaches are a very short walk away and there are some very nice beach bars to visit.
we didnt let our experiences ruin our holiday as the area itself is fab.
the 'Musical Fountain', just a short walk away is a must see! if you dont do anything else, you must see it!" |

| "We enjoyed the quiet serenity of the environment at the hotel, but mostly we enjoyed the people: Mr. Koh was very focused on our satisfaction, and so were all of the front desk personnel. One of our favorite people was Alfred the driver of the mini-van as he helped with providing an orientation about the vicinity and the schedule for transport. The chinese restaurant was superb!! The proximity to the nearby shopping mall and public transport was also superb! " |

| "I am really disappointed. The room is old, dusty and have a musky smell, carpet is dirty and old, and the air conditioning at full blast is still not cold after leaving it on for hours. It is so warm that we have to fan ourselves to sleep. Clearly this is a 2 star quality hotel, I cannot understand how it is rated as a 4 star." |

| "My family and I occupied 3 rooms at the Sijori resort Sentosa from 5 - 11 June 2005. There were 6 people in our group. We found the all the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
We would like to make the following suggestions. During our time at Sijori the lift was not working for about 2 days and this made it extremely difficult for my father, who is 80yrs old, to have to climb the stairs to his room on the third floor. In all our three rooms we found the air conditioning unit was very noisy and as a result it was difficult to have a peaceful night sleep.
The condition of the rooms is very old and we suggest that refurbishment is done to the entire hotel.
There was not enough selection on the television, more news channels would be appreciated.
The breakfasts should offer western country foods as we did not partake of the Asian breakfasts.
The swimming pool was not kept clean and was full of litter and hair.
There should be a strict rule about noise from resort guests as everynight of our stay there was a lot of noise comming from the other rooms late after midnight.
We had a lovely time in Singapore but we would not stay at Sijori again for our future visits to wonderful Singapore. We feel that Sijori's star rating of 4 is misleading. We would give it a rating of 2 stars." |

| "The Sijori Resort Sentosa hotel is a bit of a joke considering it calls itself a 4 star place. The front desk staff were the rudest I've ever come across and simply didn't care about the guests at all, no offer to carry heavy bags or help in any way. Lift has to be the slowest in the world and can be heard in most of the rooms. Overall the place was extremely shabby and dirty which is a real shame as it is probably one of the only hotels in Singapore with some real historic character, hopefully someone will spend a few $$'s refurbishing and getting new staff and make it a real gem. Air con in the room hardly worked, has someone check it out but they said it just needed to be on longer, still hadn't started blowing out anything cold even by the next morning though! The room was in dire need of redecoration and the bathroom had what looked like a disposable quality shower curtain that had been up for at least a year too long. Breakfast was rediculous, only 3 dishes with omelete, fried rice or fried noodles and a toaster that burn the toast even on the lowest setting! Do yourself a favour and book another hotel!!" |

| "The Sijori Resort Sentosa hotel was very basic and should be described as a 2 star, the bathroom was smelly and towels very old but the location was good for children. The staff were very friendly and we could park our hire car right outside the reception. Lot of construction work going on outside the hotel but didn't cause us any problems. Breakfast just OK." |
