| "Located almost directly above the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and with bus stops outside the front door, getting about Singapore, from this location, is a breeze.
The rooms are what one would expect when staying at a YMCA - fairly basic, but quiet and restful with very little outside noise. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a walk-in shower (great for seniors who might otherwise have to cope with a hazardous over- the- bath shower).
For active types, there is a well equipped gym in the basement and a decent pool located on the roof.
Tariff included breakfast which offered a wide choice catering to both Western and Asian palates. Good cheap food are also available at the nearby Park Mall and Plaza Singapura shopping centres.
This is definitely the best value hotel on Orchard Rd.

| "I wait for check in till 14.00 pm. that it is terrible for my family. Front office are not polite and serious about deep detail of check-in such as need us fill specific name in each room. It differed from good service from YWCA. For these reason, I recommend YWCA for family trip. It surely better than YMCA. For the same budget, It have other hotels that have more good service than this. " |

| "This is an excellent budget hotel, we have never stayed in Sinagpore before and the location, cleanliness and room sizes were fine for a family of five (two rooms). The staff were lovely and the facilities were limited but fine. The showers were not up to much (ones by the pool were better than those in the room) but overall for the price we paid we were very happy.
Note that there is not a bar/lounge in the YMCA and the terrace shuts at 10pm. The breakfasts were just ok, and staff had a tendency to try and close before 10am. We didn't find this a problem.
The Dhoby Ghaut MRT station is just across the road and a new Mall and cineplex less than 5 minutes away. " |

| "Aside from its strategic location near MRT and shopping centers at Orchard, YMCA has the most affordable price for hotel in facilities and room size. However not recommended for families larger than 4 people, might get cramped in the room. " |

| "The rooms are tiny just enough room to move around to the bathroom to the door & bed, no room for baggage without tripping over you own stuff, but was very clean awesome location right there on orchard rd, value was alright could've expected little more for the price, the breakfast was very average." |

| "Good location, rooms rather small but at the end of the day we are there to sleep!! Carpet could have been cleaned better, breakfast got boring after 2 days..not much variety there..juice tasted like 'raro' which is a powder to which you add water. overall reccomend this place to stay. great pool!!!!" |

| "After searching from internet we had found that this hotel in a good location also suitable our budget! All the room was clean although the room size is not big enough but it's ok. The breakfast is also acceptable and ok for your kids." |
