In general, my wife and I were very pleased with the hotel. Our rate included breakfast, which was excellent.
However, there was one disappointment. We were hoping to have a room with a double bed, but we finished up with twin beds. When I booked the room through AsiaRooms, I could not find a prompt for specifying a standard double bed.
I have the impression that hotels prefer to equip rooms with twin beds because it gives them more flexibility. However, this is not always what the customer wants.

| "Had to change rooms due to heavy paint smell form renovations and the toilet kept backing up. The staff however, did try to resolve the problems in a prompt manner.
The hotel is in a very central location to shopping on Orchard and 2 minute walk from Mt. Elzibeth Hospital.

| "It was very convenient to Mt Elizabeth where my husband and I had to visit everyday. Our first room smelled so bad from the renovation from the floor below the staff moved us as soon as another room was made available. Apparently all the rooms have the same color and decor and no pictures which is boring but it was clean and nice size. If the breakfast was better quality and tastier I would have no problem staying here again. The staff were generally friendly. It is a no nonsense, no frills hotel within easy walk of Orchard Road and the MRT. " |
