My daughter and myself had a lovely stay in Singapore at the York Hotel. The people there were always very helpful with how to find things we were interested in looking at or doing.
I also left my camera and video camera in our room when heading off to the airport to fly home. The taxi driver drove us back to the Hotel and it was waiting for us at reception.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone going to Singapore as it was initially recommended to me.

| "Had to change rooms due to heavy paint smell form renovations and the toilet kept backing up. The staff however, did try to resolve the problems in a prompt manner.
The hotel is in a very central location to shopping on Orchard and 2 minute walk from Mt. Elzibeth Hospital.

| "It was very convenient to Mt Elizabeth where my husband and I had to visit everyday. Our first room smelled so bad from the renovation from the floor below the staff moved us as soon as another room was made available. Apparently all the rooms have the same color and decor and no pictures which is boring but it was clean and nice size. If the breakfast was better quality and tastier I would have no problem staying here again. The staff were generally friendly. It is a no nonsense, no frills hotel within easy walk of Orchard Road and the MRT. " |
