Interior of the hotel starting from the reception desk is very bland, big empty spaces with no character.Room was spacious with very old basic furnature.Bed was OK. Selection of food for breakfest was acceptable. The only plus point during my stay was the hotel staff.They were happy to help,to give advice and very friendly. They deserv my compliment.
General comment about the hotel - it is dull.
For the $200 plus/night keep away, the value is not there.

| "Had to change rooms due to heavy paint smell form renovations and the toilet kept backing up. The staff however, did try to resolve the problems in a prompt manner.
The hotel is in a very central location to shopping on Orchard and 2 minute walk from Mt. Elzibeth Hospital.

| "It was very convenient to Mt Elizabeth where my husband and I had to visit everyday. Our first room smelled so bad from the renovation from the floor below the staff moved us as soon as another room was made available. Apparently all the rooms have the same color and decor and no pictures which is boring but it was clean and nice size. If the breakfast was better quality and tastier I would have no problem staying here again. The staff were generally friendly. It is a no nonsense, no frills hotel within easy walk of Orchard Road and the MRT. " |
