The location of this hotel was in a quiet street with a couple of other hotels but was in easy reach for Orchard Road shopping.
The room was nice and large which is better than other hotels I've stayed in Singapore. The whole hotel had lots of open interior space which is far better than some of the other slightly cramped hotels in the same price bracket.
Breakfast was in a large modern lounge to the side of the hotel. Plenty of choice of local and western food. Food quality was good.
Generally hotel service was very good, the staff always saying hello.
Although I did not try it, there was a outside pool and jacuzzi which looked modern and clean, although it is very much overlooked by buildings.
You can book tours from a tour representative who usually sits in the hotel lobby. Definitely go on the Night Safari tour.
Overall a very good hotel if you are spending a couple of days in the Orchard Road area.

| "Had to change rooms due to heavy paint smell form renovations and the toilet kept backing up. The staff however, did try to resolve the problems in a prompt manner.
The hotel is in a very central location to shopping on Orchard and 2 minute walk from Mt. Elzibeth Hospital.

| "It was very convenient to Mt Elizabeth where my husband and I had to visit everyday. Our first room smelled so bad from the renovation from the floor below the staff moved us as soon as another room was made available. Apparently all the rooms have the same color and decor and no pictures which is boring but it was clean and nice size. If the breakfast was better quality and tastier I would have no problem staying here again. The staff were generally friendly. It is a no nonsense, no frills hotel within easy walk of Orchard Road and the MRT. " |
