The hotel airconditioning was too cold and we ended up with flu
Not easy to find areas within the hotel, eg we couldn't fint the Carriage Bar without returning to ask directions more than once and drinks & service in the Carriage Bar was poor
Breakfast was great but the wait staff could have been more friendly and helpful.
The hotel was quite close to Orchard Rd. However it was sometimes very difficult to get taxis, due to the location
There wasn't enough soap etc in the bathroom. We had to keep asking for extra, but the rooms were large and clean. Not enough facility instructions in the room.

| "Had to change rooms due to heavy paint smell form renovations and the toilet kept backing up. The staff however, did try to resolve the problems in a prompt manner.
The hotel is in a very central location to shopping on Orchard and 2 minute walk from Mt. Elzibeth Hospital.

| "It was very convenient to Mt Elizabeth where my husband and I had to visit everyday. Our first room smelled so bad from the renovation from the floor below the staff moved us as soon as another room was made available. Apparently all the rooms have the same color and decor and no pictures which is boring but it was clean and nice size. If the breakfast was better quality and tastier I would have no problem staying here again. The staff were generally friendly. It is a no nonsense, no frills hotel within easy walk of Orchard Road and the MRT. " |
