Hotel was ok for a short stay but being there 8 days we certainly noticed it's shortcomings...there is no-one to help with luggage coming to or from a taxi - have to lug it all yourself with no offer of a trolley or anything! the breakfasts were ok but greasy, airconditioning very noisy and we had to turn it off in order to sleep (therefore we sweltered), and most frustrating was the swipe cards used for lift/room access - they mostly didn't work and I had to get a new one issued every day!!!! how ridiculous. oh and no decent tv just a few local channels. otherwise great location, decent sized room, very clean etc. and fine for budget travellers or those on a short stay.

| "Our stay in YWCA Fort Canning lodge was what I call value for money. Although the room was quite small it was clean. maybe the hotel can have more variety in the buffet breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again if I go back to singapore with friends." |

| "My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 day stay at this hotel.Our twin standard room was very adequate and comfortable for 2 people.Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals from the dining room were good value for money.It was good to have breakfast included in the package.Each morning there was a good range of western and asian foods.The hotel was located very centrally to Orchard Rd and MRT.Only a short walk to both locations.I would definately stay here again if I return to Singapore on future holidays. " |

| "Good correlation "quality-price". Clean, comfortable.
The huge plus is location.
We disliked the Internet rates and the next customer service problem:
we booked the room before online, and upon arrival was surprised with the different room type - 2 beds instead 1 queen size. We complained but received misunderstanding in response.
The other aspects were OK." |
