We chose Fort Canning Lodge for our stay in Singapore and stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived we were very surprised to find such a nice room as we expected it to look more like in a usual hostel. It was cool that we had a room on 9th floor so that we had a good view from up there. The bathroom was as good as in any better hotel. We appreciated that there was a huge swimming-pool and loved to relax there after a day in the city. The location of the YWCA is only a few minutes from Douby Ghaut MRT station and Singapura Plaza,a mall we came to like during our stay :-), not to forget Fort Canning Park which is right across the street of the hotel. For breakfast they offered a buffet but it was the same every day. However, we liked this kind of yellow pudding but don't know what it is called. Very delicious. :-)

| "Our stay in YWCA Fort Canning lodge was what I call value for money. Although the room was quite small it was clean. maybe the hotel can have more variety in the buffet breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again if I go back to singapore with friends." |

| "My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 day stay at this hotel.Our twin standard room was very adequate and comfortable for 2 people.Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals from the dining room were good value for money.It was good to have breakfast included in the package.Each morning there was a good range of western and asian foods.The hotel was located very centrally to Orchard Rd and MRT.Only a short walk to both locations.I would definately stay here again if I return to Singapore on future holidays. " |
