We stayed for 4 nights and were very pleased with this hotel. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Although we arrived at 9 am we were made very welcome and were given a room soon after. The room was quite adequate for our needs and was very clean. From the 12th floor we had quite a good view but from lower down you'd be best to ask for a park-view room, otherwise you are facing just the rather ugly back of the shopping mall.
The location is excellent: very near to Dhoby Ghaut MRT (via the Park Mall car park) and easy walking distance to Orchard Road in one direction and the historical colonial district in the other. A gentle stroll through Fort Canning Park takes you to Clarke Quay.
Breakfast was quite adequate with a reasonable variety for the price. We also had a good dinner the night we arrived.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as excellent value for money. OK, it's not 5-star but, if people want facilities such as room service, they should choose a more expensive hotel. We would certainly recommend Fort Canning Lodge to any independent traveller who appreciates value for money.

| "Our stay in YWCA Fort Canning lodge was what I call value for money. Although the room was quite small it was clean. maybe the hotel can have more variety in the buffet breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again if I go back to singapore with friends." |

| "My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 day stay at this hotel.Our twin standard room was very adequate and comfortable for 2 people.Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals from the dining room were good value for money.It was good to have breakfast included in the package.Each morning there was a good range of western and asian foods.The hotel was located very centrally to Orchard Rd and MRT.Only a short walk to both locations.I would definately stay here again if I return to Singapore on future holidays. " |
