| "Service was good although they will not call a taxi for you, they insist that you use their hotel shuttle. Hotel looks very modern, only complaint was the shower curtain that sticks to you when you shower." |

| "A central hotel which is very good value for the money. We had a 2 bed apartment which was perfect for the needs of 2 couples - no breakfast included, however. The apartments are well appointed and always clean. The hotel is opposite the railway station, so you have to keep the windows closed at night if you don't want to hear the train announcements! This makes the bedrooms hot and stuffy, but bearable. The restaurant is expensive by local standards. There's a far better selection at the V & A waterfront. Don't use the expensive and unreliable hotel Internet - there's a very cheap alternative just across the road. The hotel has a good underground car park, which is important if you have a hire car. We were advised not to walk around the area at night and take taxis wherever we wanted to go, which means you have to take a taxi everywhere and the taxi fares do mount up. In all, we were very satisfied with the hotel, though its location does mean taking a taxi everywhere after dark." |

| "The hotel was very obviously not quite finished when we arrived, in particular the gym, which was unusable as there was no glass in the windows and there were 2 workmen there most of the time. The equipment is good quality, and when the work is complete this will be a good asset for the hotel. The swimming pool, apart from there being a scum on the top of the water, was about 2 metres wide and 10 to 12 metres long. I think the hotel is being a little ambitious to describe this in their publicity as a swimming pool.
Otherwise the hotel was excellent, the service was very good, the breakfast superb." |
