"Hm. How shall I say this? I've never left a reservation early. Until now. I've traveled in so-called developing countries and am used to roughing it. But when I stay in a hotel with any classification whatsoever (in the country's second largest city, let's not forget), I expect a minimum amount of hospitality and cleanliness. From Sangnam I received neither. Let me put it this way: 1) The carpet is practically black. And sticky. No, I am not exaggerating. 2) Even the non-smoking rooms reek of cigarettes. 3) The rooms are absolutely filthy. There is grime and dust everywhere, including in the halls. I opened my dresser drawers to find trash. Literally. The mattresses have never been changed-- that I will bet on. 4) The bathrooms have a sign: "Please do not deposit your toilet paper in the toilet. Please deposit it in the wastebasket." 5) Air conditioning? Ha! Not a chance. 6) Concierge? Front desk person? Assistance? Ha! Just a couple of people who sit around smoking cigarettes in the lobby. Luckily I speak Korean, but at first I used English (you often get better service that way) -- don't expect much English service at all. 7) Expect no bathroom amenities or other accoutrements. The one and only good point of this hotel is that it is situated near Beomosa and the bus terminal. But that said, being a camper, I'd rather pitch a tent on the grounds of Pusan University (where this hotel is located) than ever stay here again!"

"The hotel belongs too the Pusan University. I you want to stay cheap in this area it's a fine hotel"

"We were shoked to discover that the photograph of the room displayed on Asiarooms website did not exist. The real rooms are far less confortable and clean than diplayed on the website. This so-called three-stars hotel would not be granted even one star according to the international standards. "

"Aside from the front desk personnel, this hotel wasn't what it looked like on the net. The rooms were VERY small in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in, even the average japanese room. The bathroom was 3rd world, because the sink, toilet, and shower were all on the same level. That meant if you showered, and wanted to brush your teeth, you were standing in the dirty water you just showered in. Not at all good for traveling with a companion. The room was 60,000w, but I later looked at other hotels that were less expensive, with much larger rooms. The tv was tiny, maybe 11 inch. The staff didn't even have irons or ironing boards to borrow, but they had CAT-5 cables for rent??? Let's talk about convenience. I had to actually 'search' for the hotel, because the local koreans I asked along the street, and the taxi drivers had no idea where the hotel was. After walking around for thirty minutes, it took us talkling to 3 different groups of college kids to find the right direction. Turns out, the hotel sign faces backwards toward the hill, and not toward the main street or the subway exit like it should. The restaurant was nice, but there weren't any signs on any of the food in english, which I found strange, because this was supposed to be an 'international' hotel. Well, last thing, the maid, cleaner, whatever, didn't clean my room, and I stayed there for 2 days!!! Sorry, Sangnam International house, I gave you many chances, but you failed on too many levels. Do yourself a favor and skip this place."

"all thought hte cab driver had a nard time locating it. it was in a very good location with lots of good adult entertainment available both in the hotel and around. if you're a stay in the room all the time person then this is not the one for you but if all you need it for is to crash and you know do your thng then this is what you are looking for. ovaerall a good place to stay for the money!"

"Freindly staff and very good value for money. Not very near the subway though."

"A WONDERFUL place, hard to find, but a great place if you are a young adult traveler. It is more of an apartment than a hotel. You have your own kitchen so you can cook and an actual bedroom...loved it there, wish I could live there :)"
