"I was a little disappointed with this hotel - it seemed over-priced especially compared to similarly priced hotels in Seoul. I had asked for a non-smoking room on a high floor to avoid noise from the nightclub but I was given a second floor smoking room. The room was small, dark and a little shabby. I asked to change rooms and at first they said it wasn't possible but later they did move me to a different rooom which was bigger and lighter but still on the second floor and you could hear the noise from the nighitclub. The staff were helpful though only one person spoke any English. The breakfast was a little expensive, basic and not that nice and as it's not included in the price anyway it's best avoided. There is a bakery near the hotel. It's well located for the bus station but quite far from the train station and the tourist sites in the town itself (though most of the sites seem to be outside the town anyway so you need to take a bus or a taxi)."

"This hotel was very disapointing. We stayed there in may 2008.The location to the bus station is good but there is nothing around the bus station. The town, for markets, restaurants etc is a 20 to 25 minute walk. Taxis are cheap maybe $3 Aust to downtown The hotel has seen better days. It is tired looking, particularly the bathroom. our room was not as clean as you would expect, we found cobwebs on walls that had obviously been there a while. Reception staff were helpful but having stayed in other South Korean and Japanese hotels on this particular trip, this hotels standard we rate as extremely poor, overpriced and would not reccommend it to anyone"

"The first 2 rooms which we were given were dirty and the Information Folder was covered with dust. The stairway leading to the rooms was dark and the carpet was badly stained. Subsequently, we asked for a change of rooms to those which had two single beds. We had to top up with 7,000 Wons per room per night - so the upgrade cost us an additional 28,000 Wons. On the whole, I think the hotel is in great need of refurbishment and a new coat of paint and carpets. One major consolation is that the hotel is situated within walking distance to the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal. There is free Internet access in some rooms too."

"Was disappointed that the computer in the room didn't work, but the one in the reception was fine. Staff speaks very little English, but friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Would stay here again."
