| "I stayed at this resort for my brother's wedding in 2001. Although it's been a few years, I remember my stay very clearly. There is a choice of a western room or an ondol (Korean) room. I had a western room, and my brother had an ondol room. The resort is very large, with lots of activities, and is right on a beautiful lake.
The rooms very large by asian standards, and the bathroom was a typical western bathroom. Our toilet did get clogged a few times, but maintenence was always there very quickly.
The staff was friendly, but didn't speak English much at all. It helps if you travel with a native Korean speaker if possible. The restaurant and bar were good, and the Norebang (Karaoke) was tons of fun for English speakers- especially since all English songs are translated phonetically! It made for lots of laughs.
It was a great stay, and I hope to return for another stay soon." |
