Superb location, exit the subway and it is right there. Handy to the Dongdaemun market and opposite the Dongdaemun gates, this hotel is a hop skip and jump to all the must see's of Seoul.
As mentioned in other reviews the hotel strangely only provides 1 bath towel per room despite having made a reservation for 2 adults.
Great for the budget traveller.

| "The size of the room is a bit small, but good enough for a couple. Air cond is great!! Overall hotel condition is good, and most likely I would stay there again. Very good location!! Subway entries as just in front of the hotel, and at night only a block away from the night market and food!! Hotel staff quite helpful but english a bit limited, and one problem only there is only one bath towel provided.

| "Room was small but that is to be expected. The price was good for a hotel quite close to the shopping area of dongdaemun and also right at the exit to the subway station. The room said non-smoking but it still smelt like smoke. The window was quite small and didn't shut properly but it was still okay." |

| "The hotel is in the perfect location for doing tourist activities and being in the heart of Seoul. a 5 minute walk from an airport shuttle stop, and the metro is right outside the front door- you can't beat the convenience. However, the furnishings are extremely old, the grout in the bathroom is moldy, and the rooms are poorly lit. In addition, I was on the 7th floor and you can hear the loud music from the bar above until 2am, making this a poor choice for business travelers. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel unless you are really looking to save money." |

| "The main interest of Best Western Dogdaemun hotel Seoul is its location close to Downtown and just in front of the subway station. Welcome is friendly but the facilities not sufficient (breakfast is very poor in spite of waiter kindness and small price, internet access is charged, etc.). It may have been a good an convenient hotel in the 80’s or 90’s for travellers, but now it is now outmoded." |
