| "Positive aspects:
1. Clean room with relatively new fittings.
2. Only 2 mins to the nearest subway station.
3. 5 - 10 mins walk to restaurants.
Negative aspects:
1. I had to fight for the double room that I booked, as I was given a twin room upon arrival (looking at the reviews, this seems to have happened several times in the past).
2. The price of laundry is astronomical, e.g. 7000 won for a shirt, 5000 for a t-shirt. Laundry shops cannot be found outside (Koreans all do theirs at home).
3. Misinformation on the price of telephone calls. I asked how much it would cost to call a local number, but when I get the bill, it was an international rate as I called a local mobile. No apologies for the misinformation.
4. Lunch buffet - hotel guests do not pay the VAT. Given that I had just checked out before I had the buffet, I was no longer eligible for this.
Generally speaking, the room was fine, however, the other aspects above (most of them being minor things), made my stay unpleasant. The front desk staff offered no apology for putting me in a twin room or for any of the other problems. For the sake of a few won, they don't want to make the guest leave with a good impression of the hotel. Finally, there is very little in the immediate vicinity of the hotel - you need to walk 10 - 15 mins for a sign of any restaurant." |

| "This hotel is indeed very new. It's definitely worth the money spent. Not too sure whether it's a promotion but paid around 115SGD for a standard room and the room is equivalent to a 4 star hotel. Is very impressed by the room i would say.
As for the location,it's a 3mins walk to the subway station and thus, you can never lose your way and the walkway to the subway to Eujiro 4 ga can actually lead you to Dongdamun! This is the only plus in terms of location. The hotel is located in the middle of some industrial (shophouses selling lightings)and is pretty quiet at night though. You have to get around to get meals though.
I would summarise (perfect score for room, price and overall hotel but location wise - average for it's near to the subway station but not convenient to shops and restaurants." |

| "An almost new hotel with excellent facilities and an even better location. The Best Western Premier Kukdo is located in between two metro stations, Euljiro sam(3)-ga and Euljiro sa(4)-ga, which are both prominent interchange stations. You can walk to Dongdaemun (10min) and Myeongdong (15-20min) and there is both a police post and a post office just down the road. The deluxe room we had was spacious and comfortable and in an open-concept (wash basin is not in the toilet) but the design is pleasant and the room is still very clean. Lovely views of the city against a mountainous backdrop from where we were on the 19th floor. WIll definately choose this hotel again." |

| "Absolute value-for-money stay. Even if surrounding area isn't too nice, the subway makes every part of Korea very accessible. The rooms are very new and spacious. Will stay here again in the future" |
