| "The room is spacious and clean. The best thing is there is a desktop computer in the room with free internet access. Location is quite convenient, about 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station. The front desk is proficient in English, and is helpful and friendly.
The only significant downside is that the corridor is very dated with filthy carpets. But then, how much time would you stay in the corridor?
I'll definitely stay at Biwon Hotel again." |

| "I recommend this hotel, even though I wasn't sure of it during the first couple of days there (into a five day stay). The hallways are not clean and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is very much that of a budget hotel. However, the service at the hotel is excellent, and the amenities are great (in my room I had a free computer and service, free supply of hot and cold drinks, etc.). The location of the hotel is fantastic and is located equidistant (about 10 minutes walk each way) from two major subway tracks. It is also about a 15 minute walk from two major palaces. Although the hotel should invest in some new carpeting in the hallway and make sure that every part of the hotel is clean, the area, my room (with beautiful hardwood floors), and the service made up for the shortcoming. | "I stayed here in August 2007. The room (#708) was very clean and had lots of aminities; a couch, big tv, surround system, dvd-player (dvds available in the lobby) and a pc with internet (you can connect your laptop). I heard that some floors didn't have internet but my room had. The bathroom is very stylish with steaming-option and multiple showerheads. Overall the room is very comfartable although it could have been a little bit bigger. The room closes of all light and sound and my nights were very good. The hotel itself doesn't have much facilities. No pool and no big lounge. On the top floor is a bar and a restaurant but don't expect much of it. The location is convenient because it is located near two metro stations (Hyewha and Jongo-5-ga) of two different lines. This is makes it a convenient starting point for exploring the city (which i did) and returning is therefore also easy. However, the walk to the subway is quite time-consuming 10/15 minutes. Underway to Jongno-5-ga however, you will find a dunkin donuts and paris baguette where you can have breakfast. At Hyewha station you will find a kfc, starbucks and kfc if you look for western food and there are plenty of Korean restaurants there as well.
Overall I would choose this hotel again and for 50 bucks per night, this is good value for money. " |
