Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
It was a bit of a problem locating the hotel as most people mistake it for the President Hotel and it's entrance isn't on a major road. The room was very cool with all the gadgetry involved. If one was looking for a home away from home, this would do really fine. With a whole load of channels to surf through on the TV, everyone could be entertained. And if there's nothing on the TV, then press a button to play video games. Well worth the amount we paid for it. Only other problem is that only one staff can speak and understand English well. When he's off duty, the other staff, who has some knowledge of English, has to speak to you in person or the information gets mixed up.

"The family room was big and had all the amenities you nedd. Big refregrator and freezer, stove and washing machine."

"Excellent accomodation for the low price, with all the facilities you would need for a longer stay in Seoul (washing, ironing, cooking, etc). Bathrooms are large and well equipped, and the room itself is very spacious with a lot of closet space. Taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is in general, however there are cards with printed directions in the lobby which makes it easy enough to get back to at any time. The hotel is located in the middle of 3 subway stations (Dongdaemun Stadium, Chungmuro, Eujiro 4), and these stations serve quite a few of the major lines, making it easy to get wherever you want to go. Traveling to/from the airport is also simple, as the KAL bus drops off and picks up from the Sofitel Ambassador hotel which is about a 5-10 minute walk. Overall, I was very happy with Hyundai residence, and would definitely stay there again."

"I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Seoul, Hyundai Residence is definitely the best hotel. It is very clean and very spacious. The view from the window was very nice. It was a very relaxing experience. The staff were very helpful (they can speak good English) The price per night is reasonable."

"Friendly staffs"

4/5  Posted by Jean, Singapore in May 2008
"Great place to stay. This is actually the 2nd time I am staying at the hotel. There was 3 of us sharing the room so it was a little bit cramp when the sofa was converted into a bed. Other than that, the room was good and clean. I like the hi-tech system where there was a TV screen to see who was at the door when the door bell rang. First time visitors to Korea may be a little be surprised when they first arrive at the hotel as the hotel appears to be in the midst of small paper factories and motorbike shops, however, the friendly staff could easily point you the direction to hustling and bustling Dongdaemun (huge night market for shopping fanatics) and nearest subway station. It is actually situated in a convenient location. We could also see the Seoul Tower from our room too."
