Would I stay at this location
again:

No way!
I will not recommend staying at this hotel for the following reasons: 1) Staff was rude (the receptionists at the check-in counter was nice enough but seriously the attitude of the concierge desk staff left much to be desired. I guess if they do not think you are important a guest enough, they simply ignore you and your requests. 2) The room needed refurbishment, the carpets was really old and lookeed like they needed a good cleaning. bathroom was not fancy at all and the heater system was faulty. 3) Internet access was expensive at 25000 won for 24 hrs (not even wifi!) and there were tons of problems getting a connection (had to call their global helpdesk 2x). Finally I managed to get the connection, but it was crawling..... Not worth the $$ at all. 4) Location. It's out of the way from everything but itself. Yes, the Hakdong subway station is pretty close by but you will do better to stay in a place with better location (downtown seoul!) coz taxis are exorbitantly expensive after dark (and trains have stopped).

"We got a great deal for this hotel through Asiarooms. Upon walking into the lobby we were extremely impressed with the elegance and atmosphere. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. All the staff spoke English which was helpful. The dining choices were numerous. We didn't use the outdoor pool but the indoor pool and gym area were very good (once we solved the maze of corridors to find them). We highly reccommend this hotel."

"The service at the hotel is excellent. They always tried their utmost best to acceed to any request. The room is much spacious and clean than ritz calton Seoul (Had 1 night stay at Ritz Carlton) and is very good value for money for the service and comfort provided. I was really lucky as i wasn't able to get 7 nights stay at the Ritz only to managed to get 1 night stay at Ritz and the rest 6 days at Imperial Hotel. i was a little upset then bui in fact it was ablessing in disgust. Cost less with great service + bigger rooms + 37 inch LCD TV too!! Thanks to all the helpful staff and it's been very pleasant stay. Thank You."

"The staff were very efficient and the swimming pool is marvellous. Avoid the mini bar in your room or you might get bad surprises on the bill when checking out! "

"Great Place to stay, great location, easy to reach by airport limousine bus (1.5 hrs). But expensive extras such as coffee, etc."

"The overall experience was first-rate. All the hotel personnel aim to serve the customer firstly. The breakfast buffet is well appointed. And of course, the hotel amenities are exceptional, from the look & feel to the actual details like toiletries & linen."
