| "Please don't stay here! Our room was terrible. Wallpaper was stained and torn. Upholstery was torn. Carpet was old and dirty. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Bathroom had mildew and mold everywhere. Our room also supposedly had air conditioning, but it wasn't working and the front desk told us that there is no air, only heat. There wasn't even a fan! So our room was very hot and stuffy. Add that to the mold and dust from the uncleanliness, and it all adds up to a terrible stay.
One guy working the front desk when we checked in was very rude to us. The girls at the front desk that we dealt with were nice enough, but powerless to help us in any way.
The only good thing was a moderately convenient location. But I'd definitely recommend the Hamilton Hotel in the same price range... and much better on all accounts." |

| "A decent hotel located very conveniently in the tourist area. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room that had a queen sized bed and two single beds, perfect for our family of 2 adults and two children. Most hotels were suggesting two bedrooms but by enquiring thru Asia Rooms we found out that we should ask for a triple room that would cater for the four of us. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The rooms were clean though needed some freshening up. The rate was surprisingly good, perhaps because we visited in winter! The only thing lacking was a proper coffee shop and we needed to eat outside, though this was not a problem as there were a number of familiar named places around. Asia Rooms were very efficient in making the reservations." |

| "The main thing about the Iteawon hotel is the location. Other than that, there is nothing special about the place. I've stayed there a few times and some rooms are nicer than others." |

| "We stayed at the Itaewon Hotel for one night only. We were very happy with the stay- we booked a standard double room but were upgraded to a suite room which was huge. So it is hard to give a proper review as we got the suite room but only paid the standard room price. However, the room was clean, although a bit run down but still very pleasant and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient and spoke English well. The location was perfect, being right on the main street of Itaewon but still being so quiet. The train station was only a 5-10 minute walk down the street. There are plenty of shops and restuarants around. However, breakfast was not included and we did find the breakfast choices were limited in Itaewon if you want breakfast before 11am. The hotel is also so close to major attractions in Seoul, just a short subway ride away. We would definately stay in the Itaewon Hotel again. " |

| "I was extremely dissapointed in the Hotel. The Hotel doesn't look as if it has been painted for many years and there was dirty marks on the walls of the room. The door latch in my room must have been relocated as there were numerous other holes in the door and the cover plate for the A/C fell off. There was supposed to be a bar but when I mentioned this to the Manager he smirked and said that they do not have one. The Hotel looks and feels nothing like advertised. " |

| "Good location with airport bus just 1 min walk. Room looks tired. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Can't get hot water except through public dispensers located at different floor. Free internet access. Close to shopping and train station. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby." |

| "I enjoyed my stay there. Of course, the location caused there to be a lot of noise from the main road with sirens, cars, etc., but that is not the fault of the hotel. The personnel was very courteous. I asked for buckets of ice for my room and they were very generous and helpful.
Thanks for making my stay pleasant." |

| "The internet service was not reliable. The room was dirty (specifically the carpet). The "western" buffet offered very little western selection. Customer service was substandard. No shampoo in the bathroom. The only reason I would stay at this hotel again is location, but would first try the Hamilton or Hyatt.
Staff was nice and spoke good english, but that did not compensate for the other issues incurred." |
