Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
The best hotel I've stayed at in Seoul and I've stayed at almost all of the major ones. First, the location is probably the best of all the hotels. The hotel is connected to Shinsegae dept. store and there are hundreds and hundreds of places to eat within walking distance. When staying at the hotel, ask for a room facing the Han River and you'll get a gorgeous view. Next, the rooms are the biggest I've been in of all the hotels in Seoul... probably the biggest of any hotel I've ever been in. It's not incredibly bigger but definitely bigger to the point you'll notice. The bathrooms are really nice and everything from the lobby area all the way up to your room is really clean. Staff there is very friendly and speak english well. Now the best part of the hotel. Their fitness center is by far the best in Seoul. Their fitness center is better than most of the 24 hour fitness and Bally's gyms here in the states. Restaurants inside the hotel are a bit expensive but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance so there really is no need to eat inside the hotel. The price is a bit on the expensive side but it's definitely worth it. Access to the subway is directly in front and side of the hotel and there are cabs/taxis always waiting in front of the hotel. All in all, I've stayed at 10+ hotels in Seoul and this one is the best so far.

"what a perfect location! adjacent to the bus terminal for the airport; shopping; and great views over the river. The restaurants are great, specially the Grill; amazing fitness centre; and excellent staff. Definately I would stay here again if I went back to Seoul."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my 5-day stay. Staff was attentive, courteous, and spoke fluent English. Excellent corporate lounge served as rally point and meeting room for my team and for meetings with local contacts. Dining facilities were great, and the hotel was contiguous with extensive underground shopping facilities. Central location was also a plus. This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Korea or Japan."

"The room was great, very comfortable. I stayed in the Marriott in Bangkok and service was great. The service at the JW in Seoul was terrible. Definitely not worth the price with such bad service. Stayed 4 days and only once did the staff offered to call a taxi for me. Most were not able to speak English only the check in desk were fluent."
