The Prince Hotel was absolutely perfect for us. I knocked one happy face off the bathroom because some people would want a tub and not just a shower, and because they do not provide shampoo...although they do provide face cream! The hotel is situated minutes, on foot, from most of the downtown destinations for tourism, and easy walking distance, in good weather (if you are afraid of a little cold or rain!) from the business district and American Embassy. It is a short taxi ride to Itaewon and Namsan. Taxi's have different rates, with "Black" taxi's charging the most...however, they are also the most reliable, better drivers, and you have a chance at English. The airport shuttle bus picks up at a nearby hotel, but The Prince does shuttle you and your luggage to the pickup hotel. I did not have a room that included breakfast, and the little buffet downstairs was nice, but quite expensive, so we went to the bakery next door for coffee each morning, and put milk in the 'fridge and had cereal in the room! This hotel is located in a way that gives you options like that! I also gave took away a happy face because the staff's English was quite limited considering its location, but when they understood what was being asked of them, they were extremely efficient and courteous.
The regular rooms at this hotel are not large enough for adding cots for children, and if you can not adjust to a queen sized bed (Asians in general call it a "King") don't come here...oh, and the bed is VERY firm.
I don't know if they have larger rooms or not.
The newly redone rooms are beautiful with hardwood floors and red cabinets and accents, and the bath is small but very efficient with a good shower and a heated toilet seat!
Soooo...yes! I would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone but families (I don't have a clue about Eco Adventurers).

| "I have stayed in this hotel twice.
The location is excellent as it's just right next to the Myeongdong subway and across the road from Myeondong.
My major miff is the bathroom - the drainage is very poor so the water from the shower tends to leak out of the shower area into the entire bathroom and we have a very wet bathroom." |

| "Very nice hotel with good services from the front desk. Although the room was not spacious but is clean and with good bed that good enough for a good night's sleep. The location was superb, it's just 2 minutes walk to the subway station and is right in the heart of shopping areas, eg. Myeong Dong, Namdaemum & Dongdaemum market, restaurants and etc. Free shuttle service was provided to the airport shuttle bus stop in front of Sejong hotel. Everything was good and I will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time I go to Seoul." |

Only one problem we wanted to stay longer but hotel was fully booked, so book early. Would recommend this hotel to everybody anytime." |
