The location is extremely convenient since it is located right around the corner from the blue line Naemsong (I spelled incorrectly). It is also a short walk to the CSO. This is the place where US military personnel go to get information on tours around Korea. At the CSO civilians are also invited to use the free internet and ask questions of English speaking staff. I mention this because some of the English speaking staff at the hotel were very blunt and brief with their responses. There was one time it was difficult to get their attention because the staff was too busy with a personal phone call. But despite this, there were other staff that took more time answering questions in more detail. There are an abundance of places to walk for food especially late at night. I especially appreciate in this place how the bathrooms have a seperate area from the sleeping area. The bathrooms are stocked with toothpaste, a plastic basin to wash clothes, a drying rack and a scrubbie for your body. Also, there is a water dispensing machine for both hot and cold water so you can have hot tea at any time. The rooms are immacuately clean and quiet. At one time we were the only guests on the floor. Would recommend this place for convenience and clean amenities.

| "This was my second time to stay at Rainbow Hotel Seoul and I would stay there every single time.
The location is very convenient, within a few steps of Namyeong subway station and not far from Seoul Station.
The front desk personnel are friendly, efficient and very helpful. The charming lady gave me sound advice about locating a bookstore, just three subway stops away.
The room is spacious, with amenities and many TV channels.
There are many restaurants and fast food places close by, including 7-11, Baskin Robbins and Outback Steak House.
For the rate of $61 per night, there cannot be a better place from which to explore Seoul.
Very highly recommended. " |

| "So close to many eateries and 3 minutes to train station. It's very good for budget travelers but must travel with light baggage as bus stops at a busy main road near the hotel. Just 1 carryon & 1 middle size baggage for moving in and out of bus & sidewalk & finding your way to the hotel is recommended. It's cheap to travel in Seoul by train (there is a huge train network east/west & north/south and for a little more than 1 usd $ or 1000 wons from one end to the other) Pick up train guide at tourist kiosk and is easy to learn to use the service. The bank is very close for foreign money changing as the hotel do not have this service." |
