The Rainbow Hotel is AMAZING! While the saying 'you get what you pay for' is true in most cases, in this case, you get much more than you pay for! The location is amazing-- close to subway station, convenience stores, restaurants, shops and more-- and it's less than a three dollar cab ride to most tourist attractions! The front desk staff were amazing, all fluent in English and very helpful (even exchanging money for us on a holiday although it is not something they usually do). Additionally the heated floor and PC in room made relaxing in our room as good as going out! I would recommend anyone stay at the Rainbow Hotel as these boarders enjoyed it!

| "This was my second time to stay at Rainbow Hotel Seoul and I would stay there every single time.
The location is very convenient, within a few steps of Namyeong subway station and not far from Seoul Station.
The front desk personnel are friendly, efficient and very helpful. The charming lady gave me sound advice about locating a bookstore, just three subway stops away.
The room is spacious, with amenities and many TV channels.
There are many restaurants and fast food places close by, including 7-11, Baskin Robbins and Outback Steak House.
For the rate of $61 per night, there cannot be a better place from which to explore Seoul.
Very highly recommended. " |

| "So close to many eateries and 3 minutes to train station. It's very good for budget travelers but must travel with light baggage as bus stops at a busy main road near the hotel. Just 1 carryon & 1 middle size baggage for moving in and out of bus & sidewalk & finding your way to the hotel is recommended. It's cheap to travel in Seoul by train (there is a huge train network east/west & north/south and for a little more than 1 usd $ or 1000 wons from one end to the other) Pick up train guide at tourist kiosk and is easy to learn to use the service. The bank is very close for foreign money changing as the hotel do not have this service." |

| "The location is superb! Very close to Namyeong Station (Line 1) and another station (Line 4) which I can't remember the name. Plenty of amenities near the hotel, including a nice restaurant which serves the best fried and smoked chicken I've ever tasted. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and speak understandable English. Overall good value for money. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to Seoul." |
