| "I enjoyed my stay at Rex. The hotel location is very convenient for shopping, food and transportation, just a few minutes walking distance to Shinsegae, Namdaemum, subway station and bus stop. The service staffs at Rex Hotel are very helpful and friendly. The room and toilet are clean. Internet, toothbrush, hair dryer, hot and cold water are available. The price is reasonable. I will stay Rex Hotel again for my future visit to Seoul.

| "The services were excellent. Room was pleasant especially the toilet. As for the facilities, they should update their directory as the games room was not there anymore. The location of the hotel could not be any better.By just walking out of the train station for a distance of 80metres and you will reach the hotel
All in all, i strongly recommend this hotel to anyone be it for travelling etc." |

| "I booked the room because I wanted a room that was clean, close to Nam Dae Mun shopping and not expensive and the room was fine for those needs. It's nothing fancy but it's clean. It is not cheap and not expensive. I don't have any complaints." |

| "The rooms I had were a bit noisy. The hotel is not directly at the main road, but there is traffic during the day and evening, and an adjacent construction site (June 2007). The windows, even if closed, does not keep the noise out." |

| "Hotel cut off the air-con frequently throughout day & nite. I booked 2 rooms for 7 nites. Have to keep calling the staff at least twice per day to turn on the air-con. Staff could only speak basic English. I can only gather that hotel wanted to save electricity. Sometimes, have to wait for 1 hour before hotel turn on the air-con. Terrible experience.
Wonder it is a practice for other hotels!!!" |

| "Basically, the place is proximate to Namdaemunno Market and the famous night market-Myeongdong. One can also use the underpass going thru the Shinsegae Bldg where you can buy lots of stuff as well. However, I would suggest the hotel management to train the hotel staff for English fluency to attract more foreigners. Sometimes, one needs to use sign language to communicate with them. Just the same, the hotel staff's courtesy and politeness were highly appreciated by me and my family. It also notable that the hotel has an arrangement with some bus companies for seoul sightseeing.
About the room, I would encourage the hotel to make a provision for a mini kitchen and keep the electrical wirings in place.

| "Even if I shouldn't mention the price - this was my main problem at your hotel: the price was not adequat for the service or the overall convenience. The breakfast was not included and by far too expensive." |

| "I enjoyed my first trip to SEOUL from 1 to 10 June 2005. Rex Hotel Seoul, I must say, is excellent for its price, big room and close proximity to the shopping areas of MyeongDong and NamDaeMon. The very economical Express Bus to/from Incheon International Airport also stops at the Hoehyeon subway station just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Even though the staff at the Rex hotel Seoul is not as helpful as I would like them to be, but with the above good points, I strongly recommend this hotel. Only one thing to note is that one has to be very careful on the small lane leading out from the hotel to the station, the traffic is extremely dangerous. Vehicles are king of the road there - stroll with care.
