| "stayed 4 nights here with my adult children and we were very pleased with everything. The front desk staff were very helpful and had a good understanding of english. The location was very central to sight seeing and your right in the middle of a great shopping area. The breakfast buffet was very good and we ate there every morning. For me the only draw back was how hard the beds were. I would have no problem coming back to this hotel to stay." |

| "The location of the Savoy is great for anyone who wants to do a lot of shopping in Myeongdong. There are restaurants all around, and the subway station is also just a couple of minutes away. The only problem is the fashion outlet just opposite the hotel that blasts really loud music from 11am till abt 10pm.
It may not be the most luxurious of hotels, but it's a good choice for shopaholics. " |

| "Hotel location was great, right in the middle of the Myeongdong shopping district. Hotel was within walking distance from the airport limousine bus-stop and a mere 5 mins walk from the Myeongdong subway station. Room was considerably big for a couple and it was clean. Hotel staff friendliness was not too consistent though. A good hotel to stay at on an overall note." |

| "Location is fantastic! Right smack in the centre of the shopping street in Myeong Deong. Good for budget travelling and shopping. Tons of food joints around the hotel. Can check out the roasted chicken store next to hotel, cheap instant noodles meal(1500won only) and coldstore icecream store - all not very ex and nice food. Oh ya, its also walking distance to the Nam D.M
Slightly noisy for people who needs a quiet place as its not a very high rised hotel and thus able to hear the noise from the streets.. but if you are a person who is going there to eat & shop and spend only the night time in the hotel to sleep like me, you sld enjoy your stay.
Will definately stay back at this hotel when i go back to Korea!
Aside from this, places to check out for shooping includes: Dongdaemun's Doota and street stalls opp the shopping mall, Namdaemun Market, Itaewon, Street infront of University of Hong-ik & Myeong Deong. The above sld cover a good 4D3N itineary." |

| "It's very convenient to access metro station and main shopping area (Myeong-dong). Friendly staff, excellent location and sufficient facilities are good enough for the value." |

| "We only had a night's stay at the savoy after spending a week skiing in yonypyong. So actually, it was more of like a stopover for the night before we catch a flight back home. The taxi driver from lotte world took awhile before he found this nice little cosy hotel located right smacked in the middle of myeongdong. Fantastic location be it for shopping, eating, people watching, etc though it can be a bit noisy if your room happen to be facing the main street where all the shops are located. I believe the rooms had been recently renovated and given what i had to pay(thanks to asiarooms) it was certainly value for money. What i like most about the hotel is the moment i walk out of it, everything you need is there! I will certainly put up at the savoy again for my next trip. " |

| "AsiaRooms.com recommended this hotel when the first one we requested was unavailable. Top marks for location - it was right in the thick of things, which was what we wanted because we only had a day in Seoul. After some airport dramas in NZ (unrealated to travel) we had to fax and courier some documents home, and the concierge was incredibly helpful, even with their limited English. If you stay here, don't be alarmed when your taxi driver can't drop you off in front of the hotel, as the street it is on is narrow and at night was a market (we arrived at about 11pm). We had expected it to be noisy as we had a street-facing room, but it was actually very peaceful. The room was small, but as we were only overnighting, it was all we needed. They have a courtsey van to Seoul station to connect with the airport bus, which was very helpful. The bus was efficient and when going from town to the airport, saves you about $NZ100!!! " |
