| "It is more like a serviced appartment than a hotel. Not luxuriously decorated, the room is huge and very comfortable.
3 minutes walk to the metro station, another 5 to the buzzling Gangnam area, where you find plenty of good food and shopping places." |

| "The location of the hotel is ideal, its almost equal in distance between Seoul National University of Education and the Gangnam subway stations (less than 5 mins on foot).
If your after a supermarket nearby to buy laundry powder/shampoo and other essentials forget it! but there is a little convenience store right next door on your left as you walk out of the door! Or other several convenience stores on the main road going towards the Seoul National University of Education subway.
The room i stayed itself was clean and tidy. double bed downstairs and another double on the mezzanine loft (beware low head room). There are some marks on the walls from previous guests perhaps from smoking in the room? Rooms are cleaned every couple of days. Could do with a bigger TV rather than the mini 15 inch LCD monitor, but hey your there for travel not to watch TV. Kitchen facilties discourage you to cook in the apartment.
I stayed on the 15th floor (top floor). On occasion lost complete water pressure while in the shower, but all you have to do is turn the taps off and wait 3 seconds and turn it on again and the water is back but if your staying the on higher levels expect to experience this at least once. It was nice to have a good size shower recess coming from a western country.
Gurgling noises from under the sink was from the ondol floor heating system in winter. but nothing to lose sleep over just turn it off before you sleep.
Staff are friendly and helpful greeting you in korean every time you walk in the door.
The Gym is small but equipped with modern computerisd equipment. The coin operated laundry is next to the gym, be sure to have pleny of 500Won coins as you need 1500won for the washer and dryer. there is a note exchange in the laundry but it does not accept the new slim line korean currency!
For the price its a great place to stay, service is good clean and tidy and the location is not bad, i would stay there again." |
