| "The best part of this hotel was location. It is sandwiched between two important metro stations. Both stations are 5 minutes walking. Anguk(line 3)is to the north and Jongno-3(line 1, 3 & 5) is to the south. Between the two you can see most of the tourist areas (palaces, folk museum, etc) and its a straight shot to Gimpo Int'l or Incheon airport in about an hour. The staff is friendly & helpful. The rooms are small, but clean. Internet access from 9-10pm and room ammenities are free. " |

| "We were pleasantly surprised how friendly Mr Yim and his brother were and found the room to be clean with all facilities working. There was good television which worked well, water cooler, hairdryer and mini fridge to store your drinks.
overall we found the Korean people to be very friendly and helpful and this made our stay very pleasant.
The hotel is small but very cosy and was great location as quiet at night as behind main street and close to main subway stations and bus stop.
We highly recommend this hotel as it far exceeds the price and the friendly staff make you feel at home straight away.

| "The owner, Mr Yim, is friendly and he speaks good English.
Basically, for budget raveller this is a good place to stay with the subway only 15 minutes of walking distance away and the historical landmarks such as Cheongdekgong a stone throw away.
The restaurants are nearby, which for unfamiliar travellers, settling in is easy.
Overall, we find this a wonderful place to be in.
Also, look out for a cute, tall and handsome Korean staff who is trying to perfect his English. Interact with him as he is able to offer good locations for travel. If you want to know the culture of Korea, he is able to help as well." |

| "The location is excellent, easily accessible by airport bus, and Anguk Station is within a short walking distance. We like the hot and cold water dispenser in the room, which comes equipped with TV and hair dryer. There is hot water for shower and bath. It is really good value for money. The staff can speak English quite well and are friendly and helpful." |

| "Nice, clean hotel. Easy to find the hotel. Has an elevator as well. The staff are very friendly as well and would accomodate your wishes as much as they can.
However, if you arrive on a late night flight, it would be a good idea to email the staff in advance because I noticed that the lighted hotel sign is off at around 11pm. Without the hotel sign, it might be a little difficult to find if it is the first time there. " |

| "Stayed in this "hotel" (more like a budget motel) for 4 nites. Overall I would say that it was value for money. However, if you are claustrophobic, the very small single-bed room will not be too comfortable to you. Location wise, it is not too bad, within 15 min walking, you can reach the famous shopping Insadong district, and immediately opposite across the road, you will find the Changdeokgung palace. Some advice for people taking the airport limousine to the hotel -once you get-off at the Aunguk Station, you'll have to walk in the same direction of traffic (do not cross the road)till you find a Hyundai Oilbank (petrol kiosk. Do not be distracted by one other petrol station right before this Hyundai oilbank. There is a very small lane immediately after the Hyundai oilbank, turn in and you will see the "hotel". Owner of the hotel in general is quite friendly, and he is able to speak English. He however appeared a little irritated when I asked to come back late a little to check out..I decided not to annoy him and check out before 12 pm.. thank God, I could put my luggage in my friend's car who wanted to have lunch with me before my departure. | "We stayed at Kim's during our stay in Seoul in May 2008.
Liked the location (easy to reach from the airport by bus and about 10 minutes walk from the respective station) close to the main attractions.
Room was cramped but that is - according to my previous experiences in Seoul - the standard for this kind of standard accommodation.
Owner/check-in staff very friendly and helpful.
If you are keen to get some decent but small budget accommodation in Seoul, Kim's is an option for you.

| "Bit of a long walk, when arriving from the Airport by coach, especially with large trundle luggage. However, the walk to the coech stop when leaving is only a short walk. Although the hotel is in a back street, this is no real problem, as you feel very safe. The hotel owner bent over backwards to see that all was OK during our stay. Would reccommend this hotel for people wishing to stay in a good two star place at the right price. " |

| "Really friendly and nice reception and service. Vacuum cleaned and tidied every day, clean towels evry day. Not luxury but everything you need is there. There´s really nothing to critisize. Room wasn´t very big, but I knew that from the beginning and you can´t expect more for those prices. And its right over the road from Changdeokgung palace, and a 5 min walk to Insadonggil and not far from Gyeongbokgung palace and Jongno 3 ga station (Subway and shopping etc)
If you´re looking for cheap, clean and friendly, and a good base-point in Seoul, I can only recommend Yim´s House." |
