The guesthouse also has excellent public transport connections. From here you can easily walk to Opera, and Sol metro stops.

There is a metro station called "Opera" very near from the Hostal.
If you came by plane, the better thing to do is take the metro from the airport.
The ticket will cost you Eur 2,00 each and the route is as follows:
From the airport take the line number 8 until "Nuevos ministerios" end of line.
Then take the line number 10 direction to "Puerta del Sur" until the station called "Alonso Martinez"
Finally take the line number 5 direction to "Casa de Campo" until the station called "Opera".
Important Information:
A credit card is required to secure your reservation at Hostal Mairu in Madrid. If the reservation is not cancelled outside of the 2 days cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the first night's stay unless otherwise stated in the room notes.
